One of the blogs published by the scum who work at the Heritage Foundation are all pissed-off because the U.S. State Department may or will grant a visa to Mariela Castro Espin, the daughter of Raul Castro, who plans to visit San Francisco for a meeting of the Latin America Studies Association.
The shit which they publish calls Fidel and Raul Castro dictators.
What is a dictator for a Yankee imperialist? One that does not kiss the ass of Uncle Sam on a daily basis!

Dictator is the one who maintains the system that suppresses the people. Step left/step right out of the drawn line is severely penalized in Cuba, in case you were misinformed. The justice system is controlled by the same dictators. Don't even try to claim that it's independent. I am sure that is not the case in whatever country you live in, and you take that for granted. Cuban state has almost complete control over what you are allowed to do with life. If you speak out out of the approved line, forget about completing your university degree.
If you are a creative artist, or a writer and you are deemed to be non-compliant enough, you are not going to get membership in the UNEAC, and forget about being published without it.
Whether you agree or disagree with the blockade of Cuba (I disagree), trying to claim that it's not a dictatorship is naive.
